Katherine Dix Esquivel

Katherine Dix Esquivel graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with highest honors and cum laude from Harvard Law School.  After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Martha Craig Daughtrey, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Honorable Robert Mehrige, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  She then worked as a Skadden Fellow for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia and later represented migrant farmworkers in employment cases at Southern Migrant Legal Services in Nashville.  Ms. Esquivel was a founder of Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors (“JFON”).  Ms. Esquivel is currently an assistant Metro public defender in Nashville and serves as the director of JFON.

Adrienne Schlichtemeir

Adrienne received her undergraduate degree in English from Vanderbilt University in 2006, and her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2009. In the summer of 2007, Adrienne worked as an intern at the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence Immigrant Legal Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee. In the summer of 2008, Adrienne worked as a law clerk at Rose Immigration Law Firm in Nashville, Tennessee.
